This is The Felice Brothers playing “Greatest Show on Earth,” the second song on their 2008 album, The Felice Brothers.  This isn’t the best known Felice Brothers song, but it has recently climbed to the position of my favorite.  The whole album is wonderful, but if you’re not into the whole folk thing, I wouldn’t recommend it.

This song sounds a lot like some Dylan, from the voice, to the lyrics, to the arrangements.  Still, if you listen to this song and your heart doesn’t break a little bit, I am sorry for you.
