Jeff Buckley - Lover, You Should’ve Come Over
The story of Jeff Buckley is honestly one of the biggest travesties to happen in the history of music. The son of of the 60’s folk singer Tim Buckley was destined to be a great musician. However, the world would only get to hear one full length album, due to his drowning in 1997. This is honestly one of my favorite albums ever and “Lover, You Should’ve Come Over” may possibly be my favorite song. The raw emotion that Buckley emotes within the six minutes and forty four is amazing. The passion he must have had for the person that the song is written for is something that I believe we all strive to have. The line “It’s never over! She’s the tear that hangs inside my soul forever” nearly gets me every time.
